CAR FIRES AND HEALTHCARE

We Americans have many wants and needs, having the ability to take care of the needs seems to be getting more difficult with each passing year. One example of a need is that of transportation. Having a good auto is essential to being able to get back and forth to work; when things go wrong it requires some common sense to take care of the problem. For example, if the car catches on fire the first course of action is to put the fire out. It would be foolish to think that you could put out a portion of the fire and still continue to drive the car. Most people have the ability to understand the need to put the fire out completely, but in the case of another need, that being healthcare, it seems to cause seemly intelligent people to act like a raving idiot.

Over the past few days I have been watching the escapades of some of the Republican Senators in the US Senate. Obamacare is proving itself to be a complete failure, but some of the so-called conservatives lack the will and courage to rid this nation of a socialist law that is nothing but a stepping stone to a government run single payer healthcare system. For years the voters of this nation have demanded that Obamacare be done away with. First we gave the GOP the House of Representatives, then the Senate, and then the presidency. I am particularly angered at the members who voted for a full repeal during the Obama presidency; now that we have President Trump willing to sign the repeal they have changed positions. Instead of listening to the people who put them into office who are actually paying taxes and for healthcare services, they are listening to people who want to receive healthcare free of charge.

Far too many of our people have been brainwashed by the liberals and their news media friends into clamoring for the mantra of making the rich pay their fair share. Now anyone in the middle class who holds down a job is somehow in the rich category.  When you look at the numbers around 50% of the people in this nation pay no taxes, while the top 10% pay the lion’s share of tax revenues. The Senate didn’t even pass the watered down Skinny Bill, according to what I have heard it would have only repealed part of Obamacare. It kind of reminds me of not putting out a car fire and just keep driving it. The government, in my opinion, has a dismal failure record when it comes to their interfering with the healthcare system. We are seeing a never ending rise in cost of care and insurance, it has gotten to the point where even if you have an Obamacare plan the deductibles   and the premiums are so high it is like not even having any insurance. To prove my point look at the cost of cosmetic procedures in this country. Cosmetic procedures are, for the most part, not covered by insurance; the cost is governed by the free market system. Over the years the cost of many procedures has declined and the procedures that have risen are nothing compared to conventional healthcare.

I urge everyone to watch how your senators and representatives vote on the healthcare issue. Do not have blind faith in those who are nothing but RINO Republicans. We need to be looking at what they do instead of what they say. We also need to remind ourselves that Obamacare is still the law of the land because of their inaction.
