THE RULES OF THE GAME
In any contest or game it is imperative that we have a clear understanding of the rules. To have any hope of winning, a contestant must have an idea of the limits that they and their competitor can do in the course of the game. This year’s elections will go down in history as one of the most rough and tumble contests that this nation has ever seen. Many of my generation were raised to trust and have faith in our fellow man; from what I have seen in our country today I believe we were naïve to have that position.
Over the years I have written about the biased slant that many of the mainstream media have concerning conservatives. In this election cycle the media has gone from being slanted to being outright hostile to Republican presidential candidate Trump. The media has tried to portray Trump as a loose cannon or some kind of nut; while he may be a little rough around the edges he has spoken from the heart and his accusations have been verified by the recent WikiLeaks email dumps. When Trump said the he didn’t trust the polls, the media made fun of him. The Wikileak email dumps proved that the Clinton campaign was engaged in a scheme to doctor the polls. Other emails told of the collusion of famous reporters and the Clinton campaign. When Trump said that the election was rigged he was spot on target. The actions of the press proved his point. While they would focus on some of the most trivial things about Trump, there was little mention of the scandals around the Clinton Foundation and the pay to play scheme of peddling of political influence of the Clintons.
Just like the rest of us, Donald Trump is far from perfect but at least he created businesses and built his fortune in the private sector. The Clintons, on the other hand, have never owned a private business; what have they done to become so fabulously wealthy? The only thing they have ever done is being in politics and getting paid exorbitant speaking fees for speeches and putting the squeeze on donors for the Clinton foundation. Just a few days ago the FBI reopened the email case on Hillary Clinton. The illegality of what Hillary did is mind numbing, for god’s sake she was at one time the first lady of this nation. If she didn’t know that what she was doing was illegal she definitely should not be the leader of this nation.
For all of you never Trumpers out there, at least he did take the pro-life position along with all of the slings and arrows that went along with it. The most important issue of this election is the potential appointment of several Supreme Court Justices over the next four years. At least Trump has promised to appointment conservative justices; ask yourself what kind of justices Hillary would appoint.
While some people don’t like the coarseness of Trump, I think he is just what this nation needs at this time. We have tried it with good guys like Mitt Romney, how did that work out for you? With their dirty campaign tactics they destroyed him. Trump is a warrior and a fighter, no one else could have engaged the Clinton machine like he has done. As for the rules of the game, between the liberal news media and the Clinton machine, there are no rules. If we conservatives are to prevail we must understand it and become warriors also.
