Signs of the End Times

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. - Matthew 24:33

It is difficult these days to see the news on TV or hear about the News from social media of some sort, for all the events occuring is so reminiscent of biblical prophecy.  In today's world with access to the internet information travels quickly and it is difficult to discern truth from fiction for some people and they are left in the dark.  Though many of the questions men have today are the same ones asked years and years ago.  Even those who profess to be atheist by nature have become more vocal, and many times feel the need to express an opinion up on religion in one way or another.  Many just ask the unraveling question, how do you know when the end has come.  

WICKEDNESS: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Timothy 3:1-7.

THE FALLING AWAY:  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God, 2 Thess 2:3-4.

KNOWLEDGE SHALL INCREASE: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased, Daniel 12:4.

SCOFFERS: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation, 2 Peter 3:3.

MOCKERS: How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts, Jude 1:18.

GOSPEL PREACHED ALL NATIONS: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come, Matthew 24:14.

DOCTRINES OF DEVILS: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth, 1 Timothy 4:1-3.

DECEPTION: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many, Matthew 24:4-5.

VISIONS AND DREAMS: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams, Acts 2:17.

SIGNS IN HEAVENS AND DISTRESS ON EARTH: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring, Luke 2:25.
