2D vs 3D Graphics

2D graphics offers an expression that gives life to art work from the hand of it's author.  However, normally fails to catch all the depth that is possible while using 3D graphic programs.  Whereas, 3D programs gives dimension to art work from a different angle and perspective, it sometimes lack the expressed capability able to be achieved using free hand techniques.  But each are drawn close by the use of editors such as Adobe Photoshop, though I'm not advocating one company over another the tools present in Photoshop CS4 & CS5 are somewhat superior to other editing programs.  In either case the creation of graphics can be fun as well as challenging to get the detail desired from the artwork.  When using advanced 3D graphic programs the user may require to become well oriented with the function of the program, it may take several hours to Read or view tutorial videos to quite understand the interface and functions.  However, most 2D art programs are intuitive and offer a low learning curve, thus allows the artist to quickly turn out finished work.  In either case allot can be learned by dabbling into both spectrum's use all the tools which are available to produce the one graphic that catches everyone's attention.
