Imagine this, with the new update from Apple they offer the cloud as a storage repository for photo's and other stuff which offer great prospects for those with a number of devices; you may have instant access to your documents and programs or photos from your iPhone, iPad or other all from one location "the cloud".
Convienent though for those looking from the back side of that cloud where masses of information flow from numerous of users, not just from the contiental US but from other locations as well. Say you want to see what millions of people are upto, or search of certain activity that terrorist might be upto....you get my picture. Innovative terraflop computer's may be programed to cypher through the data pool for such instances, or a center with large screens may be set up to view through the masses of information that are placed in a central location for such activities that government entites might want to be privy too. Sound far fetched...think of what we are doing today as it relates to global intelligence and the associated communities and their ability to share informations across their outreach sources.
True, someones photo of their kids playing in a sandbox have no meaning to those who may have access to data on this level. But lets add another element to that photo it has the geo tagging feature enabled, therefore the sand box location is known to the intelligence community.
In other words, I speak or send a signal that gives a coordinate to where I am located, a drone might just hit me should I be a target on a hit list. Why a drone pops in my head..its quite and can be launched from miles away and can find it's target based off a number of perimeter that it is fitted with. Enough said.
When considering the use of the cloud one must consider what he or she place on that cloud, to wither or not you might want that information cyphered through. That remain true for all informations that are transmitted via signal that my go through open communication sources. They don't call it the global information system or communication system for nothing, allows for instant access for its customers no mattter who they might be, but also allows for other communities to have free pooling of informations that they would not have had under normal circumstances.
