WHO WILL SHED TEARS
Last Tuesday I listened to the speech that Benjamin Netanyahu gave to our Congress and the information that he conveyed to the American people. It was Thomas Jefferson that once said that if the American people are told the truth they would make the right choice. I appreciate Mr. Netanyahu’s bluntness and his style of not sugar coating the seriousness of making an agreement with Iran. Mr. Netanyahu showed us what it takes to be a leader; where Israel has a leader, we Americans have a politician occupying our highest office.
Several Democrat Representatives and Senators refused to attend the speech, and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was quoted after the speech as saying the speech was“insulting” claiming it undermined international peace and almost “drove her to tears.”
For all of you that have forgotten, Miss Nancy was the Representative that stated after she voted for Obamacare, she voted for it so that she could see what was in it. Ask yourself a simple question, how is Obamacare working out for you? Now she is supporting a secret agreement with a nation that is openly promoting the destruction of America and Israel.
Nuclear proliferation is a very serious topic. We Americans have a bad habit of thinking somehow we are immune from all of the violence that is happening on the other side of the world. During the cold war America and the Soviet Union were the two players in the nuclear game; while the Soviets were ruthless, they were predictable and they did keep tabs on their warheads. The Iranians and other fanatic groups will do anything in the name of their religion. Have we forgotten the 9/11 attacks? The majority of the murderers came from Saudi Arabia (one of our supposed friendly nations). They killed over 3,000 of our fellow Americans, and I am sure their only regret was they weren’t able to kill even more. If Nancy Pelosi would stop drinking the Kool Aid, she could understand that if those same people had access to a nuclear bomb they would have no problem destroying an entire city. The Iranian leadership has openly stated that one of their goals is to completely destroy Israel; while Nancy is insulted and ready to shed tears, the Israelis are dealing with a nation whose goal is genocide.
Our current administration is one of the poorest negotiators in our history. The only commodity the Middle East nation produces is Oil, they do not export food or any other item we need. One way to put more pressure on them is to stop buying their only product - oil. Instead of making our country energy self-sufficient, our president used his veto pen and stopped the Keystone XL pipeline. We need to remember that the nation of Israel is our only true friend in that part of the world. The insult came from the congressmen that walked out and refused to listen to Mr. Netanyahu. The American people need to ask Nancy and Barrack if they will shed tears when one of our major cities is engulfed in a mushroom cloud?
