KISSING THE BACKSIDE
I have found that many people can forget who their friends are. Sometimes a business partner will allow greed or some other emotion to sway him to betray the very person who has helped him become successful in the first place. In a marriage, people can start looking at greener pastures and throw away a good thing. On a national level our president seemed hell bent upon making a nuclear agreement with the nation of Iran while turning our back on the only true friend we have in that region. The nation of Israel is the only one that shares the values of individual liberty and freedom; most all of the countries surrounding them practice some kind of Sharia Law.
I do not think that the Obama administration is looking out for the people of Israel or the United States. I cannot understand for the life of me why we would even sit at the same table with a group of thugs who continually chant “Death to America” and publicly state that the destruction of the nation of Israel is non-negotiotable. The nation of Iran has demonstrated that they are not interested in co-existence with Israel and other nations such as Saudi Arabia; they are only concerned with spreading their own radical agenda. While our president assures us that this is a good deal and he believes that the Iranians can be trusted, it should bring back memories of the deal that Neville Chamberlain made with Adolph Hitler before WW2. I am old enough to remember when the Iranians stormed our embassy in their capitol city and held our people hostage for over a year. I can also remember how they released them before President Ronald Reagan took office. They may not have liked President Reagan but they feared his resolve. Now we have a president who seems to only be concerned with whether the ayatollahs have taken their bath so he can kiss their backside.
From the reports I have heard the Iranians have gotten everything they wanted, the administration seemed to want some kind of deal regardless of the conditions. The Iranians have already proven their contempt for our allies and us, now we have thrown our friends under the bus so that we can crawl in bed with our enemy. Obama likes to talk tough but his actions speak louder than words. He is ready to take hat in hand and kiss up to the petty dictators, but he likes to come down like a hammer on the taxpayers of this country. Maybe he should have tried to sell the ayatollahs an Obamacare healthcare policy; I bet the ayatollahs would have made all kinds of concessions to avoid being included in that debacle.
Our president is in complete denial about the failure of his landmark piece of legislation, namely Obamacare. All of the promises about insurance premiums going down and being able to keep your own doctor have all proved to be nothing but falsehoods. Why should we put any faith in his negotiating skills and his promises on the big deal with the Iranians?
