POLITICAL TEARS
I have found that there are people in this world that will use any situation to have their way, often they were spoiled brats as children and they never grew out of the bad habit of wanting their way regardless of what impact it would have on everyone else. Most of the time these individuals feel that they are somehow superior to the rest of us mere mortals; the news conference that our president held a few days ago on the subject of additional gun control re-enforced my belief that our president is one of those kind of people.
While I cannot know the content of another person’s heart I can draw an opinion of the sincerity of their actions. During the news conference which was attended by a bunch of President Obama’s minions he shed some tears about the children that have been killed by gun violence. While he likes to place all of the blame on the gun instead of the individual operating the gun, he and his kind cannot come to grips with the root cause of the problem this country is facing. Too many of our citizens do not value life.
Sadly the liberal progressive programs in this country have cheapened the value of life. Just a few short weeks ago the barbaric practice of Planned Parenthood selling baby parts was in the news and for a time there was an outrage of that practice. As I remember the president was not outraged by the selling of baby parts and pledged his undying support of Planned Parenthood. I have a simple question, how can we as a nation not understand why many young people do not have a respect for life when they are told it is ok to cut the hearts and brains out of aborted babies to be sold to the highest bidder? While he shed some tears on national television during his gun control speech, I just wonder if he shed any tears over the aborted babies who became unwilling organ donors?
Our president seems to be so concerned about offending anyone who belongs to the Islamic faith but he has no qualms about offending those of us who are Christian and prescribe to the founding of this nation and its constitution. Our president has demonstrated in no uncertain terms that he has no respect for our constitution and separation of political powers. To justify his use of his so-called executive authority, he has made the comment that he did it because congress would not do what he wanted. His attitude is exactly the same as countless petty dictators and despots throughout history; they all had an air of self importance along with a know-it-all attitude.
Unfortunately we still have another year under King Obama the first, but many Americans are starting to take notice. During his tenure his party has lost control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. We Americans sadly do have a gullible streak, but after a while we get tired of being lied to and having failed legislation such as Obamacare crammed down our throats. There are many of us who love this country and have shed some tears over the way our country is in decline. There are still some people in this country who value freedom above all else, so spare us the usual political tears.
