THE ALL KNOWING OBAMA
I just finished reading an article about the news conference that President Obama called to take some cheap shots at Presidential candidate Donald Trump. In his usual arrogant way he said that Donald Trump is unfit to be president of the United States. In his address he made a statement directed to all republicans in the country. He said, “The thing republicans have to ask themselves is if you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him? What does this say about your party, that this is your standard bearer?” Our president takes a lot upon himself with all of his advice. If I needed anyone in the world to lecture me on how our government should be conducted, Barrack Obama would be the last person I would ever ask for any advice.
Under his leadership our nation has become more divided than I have ever seen it in my lifetime. Obama has shown a complete disregard for the United States Constitution which he swore an oath to protect and support. He has used Executive Orders on a regular basis to circumvent our Constitution. He has displayed an attitude of mocking anyone who has a different opinion than his, his attitude is my way or the highway. Under his leadership our national debt has almost doubled. He keeps telling everyone that our economy is doing great at the same time that our U.S. GDP grew just 1.2% in the second quarter. That was less than half the average forecast of Wall Street “experts.” Not only that, but Q1 GDP growth was revised down to 0.8% from 1.1%. Private fixed investment plunged at a 3.2% rate, the worst drop in seven years. Companies slashed inventories the most since 2011. Residential investment fell 6.1%, the most since 2010. All told, our economy has grown at an average annual rate of only 2.1% since the Great Recession. That’s the worst for ANY U.S. “expansion” in the post-World War II era.
I haven’t even mentioned the disaster of our current foreign policy; I guess if kissing the feet of petty dictators is a sign of a great foreign policy our president would win that distinction hands down. I realize that Trump is brash and definitely not politically correct, but I would support him with all of his warts over Obama any day. At least Trump has signed the front side of a pay check and his career has actually created wealth instead of being a community organizer.
While Obama likes to quote the likes of John McCain as being someone he could work with, there are many of us conservatives that are disappointed in the Republican establishment who refused to rock the boat and oppose Mr. Obama.
I just wish that the all seeing Obama, in the interest of equal time, would talk about the short comings of Hillary Clinton. Or maybe he could just send her an email.
