WHAT IS TRUTH
Many people go through their lives and never truly understand what is truth, or even if there is anything that is truth. I have found that the answer is very simple; truth is when the word and the deed become one. Ever since President Trump was sworn in he has come under attack from the left on a daily basis. While we all are entitled to have our own opinions, the left-leaning progressives are proving themselves to be engaged in nothing short of hypocrisy.
The issue of illegal immigration has divided our nation, but I firmly believe that the majority of Americans want to have control of our borders and stop allowing un-vetted individuals into our nation. President Trump made the promise during the campaign and afterward, to get a hold on the problem of having an unprotected border. President Trump was not the first president or presidential candidate to promise to do something about the problem. But all the left and their main stream media allies can seem to do is to criticize any solution Trump comes up with. It amazes me how short their memories are; there are several videos of past presidents including Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama, who made great speeches on the problem of illegal immigration and the cost to the American people. In the speeches they all promised to take prompt action and alleviate the problem. I find it strange that after several decades Trump is the only president to have the courage to actually try to solve the problem.
It is the duty of the president to be the commander in chief of this nation, and his main duty it to protect the American people. Trump has been met with countless court orders by liberal activist judges whose only motive seems to be distracting him from his job. The Trump travel ban is only one case; it took time and much expense to bring the challenge before the Supreme Court and the court ruled that our president was well within his rights to issue the ban. The court also reaffirmed that aliens from other nations do not have constitutional rights in our nation. I recently read a quote by Thomas Sowell; he said, “How long do politicians have to keep on promising heaven and delivering hell before people catch on and stop getting swept away by rhetoric?” In spite of the liberal media the voters of this nation finally understood and elected Donald Trump. Like all of the rest of us Trump is far from perfect, but his actions speak louder than words. For all of those who detest Trump, ask yourself if the word and the deeds of former presidents became one.
